INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY

When you begin individual psychotherapy, it can feel both overwhelming and relieving. Initially, we will discuss your current stressors and understand them in the context of your past and present life circumstances.

We will identify strategies to reduce your stress and eliminate toxic beliefs and behaviors. You will gain a deeper understanding of what has led you to this point, while also becoming familiar with the process of psychotherapy and how it can benefit you.

Psychotherapy is an investment in YOU. It has the potential to transform your life and bring you the peace and contentment you have been seeking. However, the journey is not always easy. Psychotherapy will challenge you to uncover unhealthy thought patterns and relational styles. With my assistance, you will gradually and gently peel away the layers of armor and defense to uncover your authentic self and true potential.

Treatment typically occurs 1 to 2 times per week, with each session lasting 50 to 55 minutes. In certain circumstances, you may opt for bi-weekly sessions. Each treatment plan is customized to your needs and includes in-depth
 psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness training, EMDR when applicable, and various evidence-based therapies.
